Jeremy's Cross-Canada cycle tour
summer 2003 is FINISHED!

What is it?: A self-supported bike-ride across Canada, from Vancouver, British Columbia, to St. John's, Newfoundland

Why the heck are you doing this?: This ride is something I've always wanted to do -- but never thought I really would!

Is this for charity?: YES. This trip and its cause were inspired by my father who is now recovering very well from a serious stroke he suffered just over a year ago. I am raising money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and NEED YOUR HELP to reach our $10,000 goal! Please click HERE to make a donation.

Fun facts:

  • The trip will involve over 7,500km of riding and will take two and a half to three months to complete
  • Depending on the mountains, wind, sun, etc., Jeremy will be riding from six to eight hours a day and will likely take a day off per week
  • Jeremy will have to eat A LOT: In order to avoid running out of energy and becoming vulture lunch-meat, Jeremy will have to eat six to seven thousand calories per day (the average male consumes ~2,000/day). That's a lot of Wendy's burgers and shakes.
  • Jeremy is bringing a tent and will be camping most nights, staying with friends in major cities and will hopefully stay on a few lawns and farms along the way
